Bio

Originally from Alabama I have travelled the world looking for truth, justice and the American way. I've lived in Texas, California, Hawaii, Beijing, Virginia, Massachusetts and have finally returned to my Southern roots. I cheerfully admit to being a workaholic with very few hobbies. When I'm not working, I read way too much, enjoy the occasional hike and take piano lessons (doesn't mean I can play anything--I just take the lessons!). Currently I'm on a fitness kick so I'm spending too much time at the gym. I like to read about history (especially 1600-1880 Europe) and modern politics. I've also been known to read "chick lit", JD Robb crime novels, disturbing Laurell Hamilton books and Regency romances (addicted to those since I was 10).

So far I am using my journal as a way to organize my own thoughts. I'm not sure if it will ever evolve beyond a private publication. With my insanely busy schedule, I rarely have time to write anymore and I hope this journal will give me the impetus to get back into the swing of things.
